Svayam.com
The vision of the project is to create an interactive portal for the
community of people with physical and intellectual disabilities and evolve
it into an organic, empowered, growing and self-sustaining ecosystem.
"We believe in fighting with the problem right at the root, so we
start from the stage where the woman conceives the child. Through Svayam,
a parent can access the information about the symptoms, causes, early
interventions in pre-, peri- and postnatal stages. The parent can also
get information about various curative and assistive technologies and
treatments, education, rehabilitation, vocational training and future
employment for their child."
