Training Location

The Training Institutes will be offered at The Learning Center, a professional development and technology facility for faculty and staff at the University of Massachusetts Boston. The Center is located on the Lower Level (LL) in the Healey Library building. Once on campus, make your way to the second floor catwalk and take that to the Healey Library. Once inside the library, take the stairs or the elevator on your right to the Lower Level (LL) and follow the signs to The Learning Center/AT Project.

Driving Directions

By car from the north
Take Interstate 93 south through Boston to exit 15 (JFK Library/South Boston/Dorchester) and follow the University of Massachusetts signs along Columbia Road and Morrissey Boulevard to the campus.

By car from the south
Take Interstate 93 north to exit 14 (JFK Library/Morrissey Boulevard) and follow Morrissey Boulevard northward to the campus.

By car from the west
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate 90) east to the turnpike's end at Interstate 93. Take I-93 south one mile to exit 15 (JFK Library/South Boston/Dorchester) and follow the University of Massachusetts signs along Columbia Road and Morrissey Boulevard to the campus.

Parking
Parking vouchers will be provided at no cost to all project participants.

Public Transportation

Subway
The MBTA Red Line goes to the "JFK/UMass" stop, and a free shuttlebus circles from there to UMass Boston and back regularly throughout the day, three to four minutes apart. The one-way trip takes about six minutes.

Bus
Buses leave from the MBTA Kenmore Square stop on the green line; the Number 8 bus provides service all day; the last one leaves campus at 1 a.m and from MBTA Forest Hills stop the Number 16 runs during rush hour only.
All bus service arrives at and leaves from the bus stops near the entrance of the Lower Level garage.
