Communication Enhancement Center (CEC) at Children's Hospital Boston
The CEC provides comprehensive, state-of-the-art evaluation and treatment for children and adults with congenital or acquired disorders affecting hearing, voice, and speech. The CEC's Computer Learning Program explores ways computer technology can maximize learning potential. Identified solutions include the use of both high and low technology tools as well as traditional communication disorders treatment procedures.

Easter Seals of Massachusetts
As providers of assistive technology supports and services, Easter Seals Assistive Technology Team is staffed by Physical and Occupational Therapists with special expertise in technology and Speech/Language Pathologists who are widely recognized experts in augmentative and alternative communication. The Team is rounded out by technology specialists with extensive classroom experience in special education, as well as comprehensive skills in computer hardware, software, and adaptive devices. Service delivery options include individual assessment, brief consultation, ongoing interventions, and professional development opportunities. Contracts and fees are individually tailored to meet your needs.

Massachusetts Assistive Technology Partnership Center (MATP)
MATP provides information and referral on assistive technology products and services; helps individuals to access funding; discusses an individual’s right to assistive technology devices, supports and services under the law; operates an electronic bulletin board and a website; and publishes a quarterly newsletter on project activities and on rights and resources.

Assistive Technology Devices and Services for Students with Special Needs, a technical assistance guide offered by the state which includes information on the rights of students with disabilities (ages 3-22) who need assistive technologies to support their learning experience in the public school system.

Massachusetts Department of Education Technology Literacy Challenge Grants
Assistive Technology: The grant supports school districts and collaboratives to form SWAT (School Wide Assistive Technology) Teams, or comprehensive teams of educational personnel. The SWAT Teams are trained to conduct assistive technology assessments and design appropriate classroom environments using state-of-the-art assistive technologies so that all students, regardless of abilities, will have equal access to the curriculum.
